An 18th century octagonal Breccia marble sink

A rare, octagonal marble sink carved out of a highly decorative Pyrenean Breccia marble. Cavetto moulding on the lower rim. The oval body curved. A few, unobtrusive losses on the rim (please refer to pictures). One old repair at the back. Otherwise in excellent condition. Wear consistent with age and use. Inner height of the basin: 11cm/4.33". Diameter drain hole: 4,5cm/1.77".
