An unusual 18th-century Dutch black limestone sink, distinguished by its striking cube-shaped body and beautifully sculpted circular basin. The base of the basin features radiating, leaf-shaped channels, carved to guide water towards the drain. The exterior is finished with a richly textured, hand-hammered and chiselled surface, lending the piece a wonderfully rustic and sculptural character. A small recess at the back accommodates the plumbing.
Condition: Very good antique condition, with wear consistent with age and use, including small chips and losses along the edges (please refer to photographs). Structurally sound and perfectly watertight.
