A rare 18th-century half-circular marble sink in rich dark burgundy marble, beautifully marked throughout with distinctive white and grey veining. The basin retains its original character, with some expected wear to the body and inner surface, along with a few small chips to the upper rim, as shown in the photographs.

In excellent, usable condition for its age, with no cracks or breaks and structurally sound. The basin is fully watertight, with excellent drainage towards the original drain hole.
