An Early 19th Century Italian Marble Sink

Semi-circular, bowl-shaped marble sink carved from richly veined rosé-toned stone. The body displays a finely worked hammered finish, lending subtle texture and depth to the surface. The interior is smoothly worn from use, with a naturally developed patina consistent with age.

Condition is very good and fully usable, with surface wear and minor edge losses commensurate with age and historical use (see images). No cracks or structural damage; the sink is water-tight and stable.

Recovered from a townhouse in Vicenza, northern Italy, ca. 1800-1850
