A good, mid-18th century, Dutch limestone sink

A nicely worn, mid-18th century black limestone sink. Carved out of "petit granit" limestone, showing the typical inclusion of small fossils and shells. Beautiful bolection moulding with finely chiseled surface. Some unobtrusive wear at the bottom of the sink, the surface is smooth though and allows a perfect water drainage. No cracks or breaks, structurally sound and in excellent usable condition.
