A good mid-18th century, Dutch limestone sink

A good rectangular, black limestone sink with two rounded corners at the front. Nicely carved bolection moulding at the top. Extremely fine, chiseled finish on the body. One small loss at the back right corner (please refer to pictures). Wear consistent with age and use. No cracks or breaks. The bottom of the sink is smooth and allows a perfect water drainage.

Rescued from a town house in The Hague, The Netherlands, ca. 1750
