A rare, octagonal Breccia marble sink

SOLD

Reference N°:

177-24

An early 19th century, octagonal sink carved out of the extremely rare "Brèche romaine de Lez" marble, once quarried in Southwest France. Beautiful curved moulding on the body. A few losses on the base, at the back (please refer to pictures). Otherwise in very good, usable condition. Some light wear at the bottom of the sink, consistent with age and use. The inner surface of the sink is smooth though and allows a perfect water drainage.
